The use of social networking for the benefit of teaching and learning is indeed not many who practice it. Many people think that learning is memorizing a number of material. The student seems to be a copy machine that copies books into his brain. In fact, memorization is the lowest level of learning. This was stated by Bloom at the level of learning goals which are well known as taxonomy blooms.
1. Use of the Web Site
A web site is the entire contents of a web server owned by a particular person or institution. A web site can be likened to a book consisting of certain pages, including covers and table of contents. Web sites are also called sites, sites, websites, or portals.
The first page of a web site is the homepage. Usually it contains several links to other important parts of a website. The term homepage is also used to describe personal / individual web pages as their "home" in the internet world.
Page by page in a web site independently is called a web page and is usually identical to 1 HTML file (Hyper Text Mark-up Language) which is the program language used to create a web site.
The use of web sites in learning includes:

2. Optimizing the teaching and learning process because it is no longer bound by space and time.

b. Benefits for teachers / lecturers / instructors

2. Utilization of multi-media (images, photos, animation, audio, video etc.) for diversification and enrichment of teaching materials.
3. As an indicator of PBM aimed at monitoring and evaluating teacher performance.
4. As a form of utilization of ICTs in the development of KBM interactively.
5. As a means of demonstrating the competence and professionalism of the teaching staff.
6. Develop yourself or do research to improve his insight.
2. Use of Blogs
Blogs are text documents, images, media objects, and neatly arranged data according to certain chronologies, which can be seen through an internet browser and usually contain notes or personal journals. Benefits of Blog:
1. Interactive media outside the classroom
For example, a teacher in a school can create a blog where the contents of a blog concern the subjects of each teacher. Then there are students who access the blog, students fill out comments on the blog, so there is communication between the teacher and students
2. Media for storing files
The teacher can arrange and review the subject matter and then put it into a blog. This really helps speed up teaching because students do not need to take notes again on the board because students can access the teacher's material easily, without being limited by time and place. The use of blogs as learning media is very reusable (easy to use) and maintanabel (easily managed and maintained).
3. Media vent for students
Blogs have facilities that allow visitors of a blog to leave comments, so blogs can be a medium for expressing suggestions, comments and venturing students about the teaching system in the school, so that the school and teachers can improve their performance as expected by the students.
4. Media for writing
Blogs can function as a medium for writing learning. With blogs, teachers learn and hone their skills in making a scientific work or writing.
Before participating in the field of writing in any official event such as; writing competition, or certification, it would be nice for teachers to use blogs as writting learning media first. blogs are also a fast and easy tool as a means of disseminating the results of research, upgrading, research, workshops and various other writings
5. Media to get information
Teachers can get information through a search process with search engines that will open and add insight to the teacher about his world and the world of science. Teachers can get information through books, newspapers, magazines, but we only act as passive readers. with blogs we can immediately give comments. And the information that is obtained is more extensive by giving links to other blog users.
6. Means of discussion
Blogs are also an option as a means of discussing between teachers and students, teachers and teachers. and sharing knowledge with other blog users, thus opening up insight into thinking.
7. Media creativity
Teachers can decorate the blog according to their wishes, for example beautified with images, photos, slides, videos, templates, backgrounds all of which are obtained for free through a counter on the internet.
3. Use of Facebook
Facebook is a social networking that was just pioneered in 2006 by a Harvard student named Mark Zuckerberg. Mark Elliot Zuckerberg or Mark Zuckerberg was born on May 14, 1984 at Dobbs Ferry, Westchester County, New York, United States (US).
The idea began when he attended Exeter High School, New Hampshire. That's when he met Adam D'Angelo. Zuckerberg graduated and entered Harvard University, initially making a Coursematch program that allowed students in the same class to see a list of classmates. But it turns out that this is also in demand by the majority of the world's population so that it becomes a network that is so large and can be used for various things including learning.
Facebook's networking site is one of the most popular networking sites in Indonesia, where Indonesia is the second largest Facebook user country (FB) after the United States (US). based on research (TNS) Digital Life, of around 30,000,000 internet users in Indonesia, around 87% of users always visit social networks (FB and Twitter). In addition, the biggest users / users of social networks in Indonesia are teenagers.
The strategy that can be done for enrichment in distance learning is the method of giving assignments, discussion methods, group work methods, activities using peer tutors and modeling or other ways to get students to read accordingly (Ade Suyitno, 2012). Based on that, Facebook can be used as an alternative strategy in controlling and giving appropriate understanding or enrichment to distance learning participants. The facebook features that can be used as learning media are:
1. Wall Facebook, this feature can be used as an information board.
2. Facebook note, this feature can be used to make short posts or lecture handouts.
3. Feature chat, this feature can be used to chat directly with other fellow Facebook users who have become friends, besides that it can be an online discussion medium.
4. Facebook group, this feature can be used for community of students, scientific studies, study clubs, and controlling the number of students / students who attend lectures or distance learning.
5. Facebook quizzes, in this feature or facility, can be optimized by teachers or students to practice material for evaluation of learning through interactive online quizzes.
6. Facebook share, this feature can be used to share material (short posts, links, images, videos etc.).
Learning models that can be used in their application are learning Group Investigation and TPS (think, pair and share). The strategies that can be used are:
a. Teachers can play an active role by creating groups related to related subjects. then can socialize it to students.
b. In groups, teachers can share material from other websites, both in the form of links, images and videos. this is to add teaching materials for students, consultation rooms, and material summaries in notes.
c. In the game quiz facility it can be used as a medium of practice / evaluation by making exercises / quizzes on Facebook.
4. Use of Twitter
Try to imagine if when the teacher is explaining the material, then the students tweet about the lesson of understanding. Exactly the same as writing on my book notes, only different in the media. After that they can discuss using the features on Twitter such as hashtag, reply, retweet, etc. For example, like math to discuss math lessons. It is useful to make it easier to classify group discussions with students and teachers.
That way, students and teachers will not get lost in more general communication, but more specifically to discuss the topics they want. This also avoids confusion between personal issues and school issues. Students listen and find lessons that they find interesting. Students make summaries in 1 tweet containing 140 characters. It could be, students make tweets about the questions that come to mind. So during school he will collect tweets that also become school records.
Then what is the difference between taking notes traditionally? When recording traditionally students can write anything and without character limits. The brain when challenged tends to follow a comfortable way, copying the exact words that are heard.
Different from tweeting, our brains are challenged to find the core of the lesson that is no more than 140 characters long. Even have to make a new sentence that describes the material obtained. Although only 140 characters, but making a tweet is not easy. It takes our creativity to make compelling tweets.
Aside from being a learning medium for students, Twitter has also been used as a learning media for the general public. Many twitter accounts whose activities share info and general knowledge. Starting from health info, beauty, interesting tips, and much more. Each of these accounts usually has a schedule for posting or tweeting the info, but there are also those who post at any time.
For example, the @info account is complete, this account shares knowledge about general knowledge. He posted interesting info at any time using only 140 characters. Even though the info he gave might come from articles consisting of many paragraphs. This proves that, twitter can help spur creativity for the author in concluding the contents of information so that it also makes it easy for the reader to digest the information he gets.
In other fields the example is the @tipsbizonline account and @the entrepreneur class. This account provides information and tips in the field of business and entrepreneurship. Unlike the previous example, they shared tips and info on a scheduled basis, namely 9am and 9pm.
With this system, readers or commonly called followers can find out when they need to open twitter to read the tweet given by that account. So that when they are scheduled, when to study and when to do other activities.
